I'm a housewife, feminist (who knew they could go together?), activist, opinionated political junkie and freelance writer.  

Who or what inspires me?  I would have to say that the GOP has been very inspiring over the last two or three years.  Political junkies thought that their columns would end when George W. Bush left the White House, but so many republican politicians came into the spotlight who were willing to take his place.  Thank you!

My Medical Hubs:

I was a Utilization Review Coordinator, employed by an HMO.  I handled case management--determined medical necessity for all services, including surgeries and inpatient care.

I was a CPC (certified professional coder) for several extremely large ortho groups. So, I am well-versed in billing and coding regulations, as well as reimbursement issues.

I was a collections specialist for a multitude of hospitals and physicians, specializing in contract analysis for all types of health plans and payors.

I also have clinical experience.  I was a medical assistant for internal medicine, allergy, urgent care, and pediatrician physicians.
